Hit The Hay

Lo-fi music for studying

Lo-fi beats give you just enough to listen to without pulling you away from your work, which is why they are the soundtrack of so many study-with-me sessions. Hit The Hay has nine calm lo-fi tracks, looped seamlessly, plus café, rain and library ambience – and no adverts cutting in mid-revision.

Step by step

  1. Open the Focus tab. Choose Students › Focus and tap a lo-fi track.
  2. Add some ambience. Optionally add rain or a café from Study ambience and set each volume.
  3. Set a focus timer. Tap the timer and choose 30 or 60 minutes; the music fades when it ends.
  4. Take a break. When it fades, stretch, have a drink, then start again.
